The Madame Blanc Mysteries
There’s a shock for antiques dealer Jean (Sally Lindsay) when husband Rory dies suddenly and she discovers their shop has been remortgaged and all of their assets pawned off. The only thing left is their cottage in the French town of Sainte Victoire, so Jean heads there to find clues to the mystery. This six-part drama also features Benidorm’s Steve Edge, Only Fools and Horses star Sue Holderness and comedian Paul Chuckle.
Shetland
Douglas Henshall is back as DI Jimmy Perez to solve crimes on the Shetland Islands alongside regular co-stars such as Alison O’Donnell, Steven Robertson, Mark Bonnar, Erin Armstrong, Anne Kidd and Lewis Howden. Fiona Bell returns, too, as murderer Donna Killick, whose compassionate release upsets many locals, not least her victim’s sister Kate (Neve McIntosh). New series regulars include Anneika Rose as Procurator Fiscal Depute Maggie Kean and Angus Miller as Tosh’s lover Donnie.
