My son has started football lessons. He’s not even three yet, and I have to admit that part of my motivation for signing him up was the image of him dressed in his football kit. New kit has oft en been a way that I motivate myself to get out running, and now it seems it’s led to me getting my son out training, too. His red socks pull up way over his permanently bruised knees and the white shirt and shorts are a few months too big for him and make him look like a player from the 1920s. I’m not an Instamum, but the urge to share the photos of this tiny new signing was massive.
