The fit
These shoes made me smile putting them on! I have mediumnarrow feet and the toe box was comfy and the shoes fitted true to size. I imagine if you were a wide fitting, they may be a little snug. They laced tightly, as I like, didn’t undo even on one bow, and the heel felt supportive.
The comfort
Comfort level 10++. These are the first ‘rocker’ style trainers I have worn and they have a large wedged heel which is full of foam and gives lots of springy support, enabling the foot to roll through the running stride. They were more than comfy, with their bounce and mild support and I haven’t suffered any rubbing, aches or blisters.
What they’re for
They’re definitely good for short race distances and for those wanting some bounce on a long run. I found these a good addition to my usual running shoes for training runs. And I’d definitely wear them as a post-race running shoe because of the extra cushioning.
