SHOKZ Openswim
£139.95|uk.shokz.com|Tester Tina
When you swim in these for the first time and can listen to music, it’s the most surreal sensation.
Although the sound quality is brilliant, I had to wear them a few times before trusting they wouldn’t fall off (me having to adapt to a new type of fit, nothing wrong with the design) as the rear hoop sits away from your head. Although they’re called Openswim, these are good for running, biking and hiking up hills, and all without fear of damage or tech failure should a storm blow in. They have massive storage and eight hours of battery life too.
1MORE ComfoBuds Mini

The 1More ComfoBuds Mini are said to be the smallest earbuds with Active Noise Cancelling (ANC) but I still found them to be secure. The tap settings are straightforward: I just tap three times to activate Siri to play my favourite podcast, and tap once to pause/play and answer any calls on route. The battery life is good: you get six hours from full and 24 hours without ANC, the whole case takes just 90 minutes to charge, and you can check on the app for the percentage of charge left for each individual bud.
