You may think that supplements like protein shakes are only for bodybuilders or weightlifters, but they can be hugely beneficial for runners too. If you are vegan or vegetarian, a protein shake can offer a convenient way to boost your protein intake.
And even if you do eat meat, getting enough protein to support an active lifestyle can still be challenging unless you like eating endless chicken breasts.
