STAR LETTER STICK AT IT
I wanted to congratulate you on a great magazine, and for the support you’re offering me as a new runner. I was diagnosed with fi bromyalgia in 2014 and, before that, had been through a dysfunction of my posterior tibial tendon, a hip operation and a tricky birth. I was fl abby, unfi t and had only one aim: to run.
Feeling as awful as I did, though, running was out of the question, until I began to develop some basic fi tness on a water rower last autumn. My husband very kindly bought me a cheap treadmill at Christmas and I tried my fi rst run in January… I couldn’t even manage a minute. I was crushed.
