When race day arrives, the thing to remember is that you’ve done all the work already and these last 13.1 miles are your glorious victory lap. Here are some final tips to make getting to the start line is as smooth as possible
POST-RACE RECOVERY
Whether it’s your first or maybe you’ve done a few half marathons previously, the recovery looks pretty much the same. The soreness that you feel is the result of muscle damage and is completely normal. It should ease over the course of the following few days, starting from when you cross that finish line
