Your Dog vet Vicky Payne said: “The first lockdown presented real challenges as the RCVS and BVA said vets could only do urgent and emergency work. We were very concerned about puppies not getting vaccinated, so our clinic kept vaccinating puppies but altered the timings of the injections to reduce the number of clinic visits. We made sure puppies got lots of treats when they came in as we couldn’t encourage our regular vet socialisation visits.
