Airgun Shooter Magazine Nov-14 Back Issue

English
55 Reviews   •  English   •   Sport (Shooting & Archery)
The November issue has arrived, and with it, great news of a trio of new British-made PCP rifles unveiled at the Midland Game Fair! The editor and Mat Manning deliver their initial impressions.
Time to gear up for autumn hunting: we give you a round-up of the gear you need for culling tree-rats, and compare the performance of nine high-power lamps for bagging the bunnies. Mat Manning goes on a field trial at dusk and after dark with the Field Master – the latest incarnation of Pitch Black’s clever night sight.
On the gun front, Nigel Allen assesses the new RS2 carrying the famous Beeman name. He also reports back on a season of shooting with Webley’s latest Stingray II, in XS guise. As for Mark Camoccio, this month he goes head-to-head with two of the newest British supergun PCPs: Daystate’s Wolverine C-Type and Impact’s Revolution GSX200. Ian Barnett’s experiment with the .20 calibre carries on – this time with H&N’s FTT roundhead.
If you’re into vintage airguns, you’ll love Phil Bulmer’s article on a Derbyshire Collectors’ Fair he visited, where interesting and rare airguns were on display – even he couldn’t resist the temptation of a pristine 1960s model in its original carton…
Buying or selling guns and accessories? Why don’t you try GunBid.co.uk? It’s a new online auction site exclusively for shooters, and we’ve met up with its inventor, Tom Bartle.
With the nights drawing in, there’s never been a better time to sit back and reach out for your latest copy of Airgun Shooter… Enjoy!
