Crawley crew training
L3Harris Technologies has been chosen to provide pilot training services to Icelandic start-up PLAY, which intends to grow its operations.
Consequently, this multi-year training services deal will support the budget firm’s Airbus A320 contingent. In September, PLAY inked a new agreement with lessor giant GECAS for a trio of the re-engined type, along with a single larger A321neo example – they are due for delivery between autumn 2022 and spring 2023. At the time of writing, the Reykjavík/Keflavíkbased airline fielded three A321neos.
