NORTHERN HEMISPHERE
You no longer need to stay up late to enjoy a whole host of night-sky objects
Autumn provides a stunning selection of open and globular star clusters, galaxies and a smattering of nebulae. By mid-October the Sun will be setting by 18:15, A meaning observers no longer need to stay up until the early hours of the morning to make the most of what the night sky has to offer. If you have a telescope, galaxies such as the Fireworks Galaxy (NGC 6946) in the constellation of Cepheus and the ever-beautiful Andromeda Galaxy (Messier 31) in the constellation of Andromeda, as well as the nearby Triangulum Galaxy (Messier 33) in Triangulum, will make ideal targets.
