Guess what? There are no rules when you are creating in miniature. Maybe you never heard this before or maybe you just need a reminder. When you are making your mini fantasy home and searching for those wonderful treasures online it’s all about what makes you happy. Don’t make excuses or declare that you are only a ‘beginner’. No apologies are ever necessary when you are expressing your heart in a creative way.
If you share what you have made and someone comments in a negative way, well shame on them! They are trapped in a gray world. Just show them some compassion and keep being your bright colorful self! When others put creativity down they are really only unhappy with themselves. Either they can’t break free from restrictions that were instilled into them as a kid or they just aren’t happy in their life. This is why I mentioned having compassion.
Paste up that large print colorful wallpaper, mix and match scales, or whatever else you aren’t sure about but makes you smile. Have fun and keep collecting and creating!
