Pictured with some of her stock, Suzie Kujawinski launched her antiques and vintage shop, The Lucky Magpie, in Chesterfield earlier this month.
Dealer Suzie Kujawinski is thrilled about her new vintage and salvage shop, The Lucky Magpie, in Chesterfield. She opened earlier this month after spending six months renovating the premises, an old coach house. “It was so good to see so many local people at the launch and particularly young people. One ten-year-old was very taken with a large fibreglass shark’s head which his grandparents bought for him.”
The shop’s eclectic stock includes lots of advertising signage, vintage clothing, kitchenalia and a collection of Rowntree advertising items which date back to the 1900s which included a miniature baseball bat filled with tiny cake decorations (now sold). Upcycled lamps made from engine parts, copper pipes and cogs will also be for sale in the shop, where prices run from a few pounds to over £1000 for enamel signs and sculptures.
