KIND-HEARTED residents of Inveraray are helping a Kenyan care worker raise funds for her nephew in Kenya who has Hodgkins lymphoma.
Kenyan-born Florence Aura, who now lives and works in Inveraray with her young family, has been given a helping hand to ensure her nephew, Seth, receives life-saving treatment.
Seth lives in Mtwapa in Kenya and works in a missionary school, where he is well loved and respected by his students and colleagues. Doctors in Kenya have strongly advised him to fly to India for more advanced life-saving treatment and a bone marrow transplant, which is not available in Kenya. Living on a teacher’s salary, Seth is struggling to afford the treatment, so his auntie Florence, with the help of some royal burgh residents, has given him a helping hand.
