This is your first album — was it a difficult process to get the record off the ground?
Writing-wise it was a pretty easy, enjoyable process, but in terms of getting it off the ground — that was tricky. It’s certainly a personal record, not necessarily in terms of the stories told, but as a whole it felt personal and still does. It’s difficult for me to put my finger on exactly why the writing was as easy as it was but that could certainly have something to do with it.
