YOU’RE NEVER TOO OLD...’
Amanda Barrie, the oldest person ever to be given an Attitude Award, has been busy for most of her 81 years, so perhaps she can be forgiven for leaving it a bit late to do some quite important things. She came out as bisexual at 67 and married her longtime female partner two days before her 79th birthday.
Although she’s been working regularly on stage and screen since the late 1940s, this is Amanda’s first major award. But “it’s never too late” could be her personal motto.
