Life partners Matthew Herman and David Kien teamed up in 2016 to create aromatic candle company, Boy Smells (we love the name), at their LA home. Mixing the masculine and feminine, their products have been a hit with celebrities including tennis player Grigor Dimitrov, who we would quite like to sniff. Now Grammy award-winning singer Kacey Musgraves has collaborated on a candle, $39, which is aptly named Slow Burn after her 2018 song – and it hits all the right notes, with incense, black pepper, elemi, guaiac, raspberry, tonka, amber and *breathe* smoked papyrus. The brand have also launched an ‘Unmentionables’ range, a selection of super-soft underwear available in the same blush hue as their candles.
