IN A major boost for Boeing, Alaska Airlines confirmed on October 26 that it is exercising options to buy 52 737 MAX jets. According to the American manufacturer, this comprises ten MAX 9s and 42 of the larger MAX 10 (pictured), growing the airline’s confirmed 737 MAX fleet from 94 to 146. Deliveries are scheduled to take place between 2024 and 2027.
