In this position, one might think Mid Argyll’s biggest town would be a bustling cosmopolitan centre of commerce and a magnet for tourists. But sadly, no. There is an onus on property owners and tenants in the main shopping streets to keep their buildings looking spruce, but the problem goes deeper.
