E.ON donated to Arrochar roof insulation
Vehicles used by the Arrochar Mountain Rescue Team will benefit from being garaged at a more constant temperature this winter after the E.ON Energising Communities Fund paid for £1,774 worth of insulation to be fitted at the rescue post. The volunteers making up the Arrochar Mountain Rescue Team provide search and rescue assistance throughout Strathclyde when requested by Police Scotland and can be called upon 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Working across all mountainous terrain and in any weather condition, members use three vehicles which are kept in the garage attached to the mountain rescue post in Arrochar and was built in 2002.
