THERE was a quacking theme for this year’s Inveraray children’s bake-off.
With echoes of another big fundraising day for Inveraray and District branch of the Royal British Legion Scotland, the children had to bake their creations with the theme of ‘duck race’.
At Inveraray Parish Church Hall, the judges decided that the overall winner was Ewan Donnan. After a very successful event and some brilliant cakes, £805 was raised in total for Inveraray and District branch of the British Legion, which works hard to maintain the area’s war memorials, among other things.
