The latest exhibition at Brodick Library is of Anna Keen’s work. Anna is an artist whose work is in the style of the old masters. She was born on the Isle of Wight and moved to Arran with her family at the age of seven. After school she went to Paris to study art for six years and then she lived in Rome for a further six years painting and exhibiting. She has strong family ties to Arran and comes home for three months every year. Her work is mainly in oils and watercolour and for this exhibition mostly on slate.
Next month the library will feature Lenny Hartley’s photo graphy.
