Organisers of the McLellan Arts Festival have announced an added extra to this year’s performances with a concert of works for clarinet and voice performed by Joanna Nicholson and talented Scottish soprano Frances Cooper.
The programme is called Turning the Elements and is inspired by poetry and music from Scotland with accompanying pictures on screen.
The enchanting programme will be performed in Altachorvie on Wednesday October 19 at 7.30pm and will appeal to anyone interested in music, song, the Scottish tradition and the Scottish landscape. Organisers describe it as ‘a real treat’. Tickets will be available at the door or can be bought in advance at the Book and Card Centre in Brodick at a cost of £10.
