The Post Office is relocating to the village hall in Kildonan. The new service will be available every Monday and Thursday between 10am and noon, half a mile from the current site at the Kildonan Hotel.
The same range of services will be available and customers can still collect benefits in cash using the usual everyday banking services or Post Office card account. The date for the relocation has yet to be confirmed. Posters will be displayed in the village to advise customers of when the move will take place.
Douglas Heed, field change advisor said: ‘We are confident that this relocated Hosted Outreach Service at the heart of the community will meet customer needs. This is part of a major investment programme, the largest in the history of the Post Office and will secure services for the future.’
