A fundraising event held at Lamlash church hall last Saturday raised more than £634 for Alzheimer’s Scotland. The coffee morning was well attended by visitors and supporters, including Cooriedoon residents who enjoyed a large variety of cakes, pancakes and other treats, as well as a prize draw.

The event was organised by care worker Danielle Hughes who said: ‘Alzheimer Scotland is a charity that is dear to my heart and something that I am passionate about, particularly as my father was diagnosed with dementia last year aged 52.
