BUD’S RUN AND BASH LOOKING TO BREAK £50K BARRIER IN OCTOBER
THE POPULAR charity 5km “Bud’s Run” hopes to smash through the £50,000 barrier this year when it’s held on Sunday October 9.
Held at the University of Birmingham, the run has taken place twice and has raised more than £40,000 for Parkinson’s UK – the dedicated charity chosen by coach Bud Baldaro, who was diagnosed with the illness in 2009.
Baldaro said: “It’s exciting to launch the third Bud’s Run on behalf of Parkinson’s UK, and we hope to have 1000 participants involved this year. Please do your best to support us. You’ll find all the details at www.budsrun.co.uk.”
