LATEST ISSUE
ON SALE 1st AUGUST

There’s a definite ‘lost cause’ theme running through our September issue. One of the biggest fish to slip through the net was Alfa Romeo’s 155 GTA Stradale of 1993, long lost but now found – and driven by us. The Aga Khan’s 1974 Maserati Quattroporte would surely have made a great production prospect. Speaking of which we have six pages devoted to Italy’s greatest concept cars that should have made production, but tragically didn’t, such as our Alfa 33/2 cover car. We also pop round to Horacio Pagani’s place to see his Lamborghini Countach. If you like small cars, you need to read our Abarth 500 buyers’ guide, while for a bit more money, you could own a Ferrari – check out our guide to every sub-£50,000 model.

CONTENTS

ALFA ROMEO 155 GTA STRADALE – Before the Alfa 156 GTA came the 155 GTA, and we’ve driven the long-lost prototype
ALFA ROMEO JUNIOR ZAGATO – Re-evaluating Alfa’s quirky 1970s coupe
FERRARI GTC4LUSSO T – Driving Ferrari’s turbo tourer to remote Ardnamurchan Point
ITALIAN CARS THEY SHOULD HAVE BUILT – Great concept cars that missed production
LAMBORGHINI COUNTACH – Horacio Pagani tells the story of ‘his’ Countach Anniversary
MASERATI QUATTROPORTE – The Aga Khan’s personal car on test
ABARTH 500/595/695 BUYERS’ GUIDE – The best things so often come in small packages
MODENA 100 ORE – One of the greatest events in the Italian calendar
COLLECTORS’ GUIDE: YOUR FIRST FERRARI – Buy a classic from Maranello for as little as £20,000
TEAM CARS – New Alfa Giulietta joins the fold, plus updates on our Alfa SZ, Fiat Doblo and Fiat Panda
OBSCURATI – An all but unknown Ferrari-based racer called the Carma FF
Auto Italia magazine is dedicated to the owner, collector and admirer of Italian cars. From Fiat to Ferrari and Alfa Romeo to Zagato, all marques presented in this high quality publication are supported by specially commissioned original photography.

Each issue is brought to you by a team of writers and photographers who have a passion for all things Italian; the country, the lifestyle, the cars. Each one of them has a background of either Italian car ownership, motor racing or engineering.

The informative content covers new car launches, road and track tests of historic, classic and current range cars, competition cars, buyers guides and interviews with prominent personalities.

Auto Italia is a collectable, continuous history of the Italian automotive industry and is unique in publishing in-depth features on the specialist coachbuilders that created a seemingly endless catalogue of vehicles. Many of these cars are unknown to even the most dedicated Italian car enthusiast and are often presented with previously unpublished archive photography.

Whatever your particular interest is,
if you like Italian cars then you will love Auto Italia.
