A WOMAN who took off her boot to hit a police constable was ordered to do 140 hours of unpaid work by a Campbeltown sheriff.
Vicky Louise Gamble, 22, of 26A Burnside Street, Campbeltown, had previously pleaded guilt to a charge of assaulting a constable in Burnside Street on June 23 and taking off one of her boots and attempting to strike the officer on the head.
Gamble pleaded guilty to a further charge of behaving in a threatening and abusive manner the same day.
