Camping Magazine March 2020 Back Issue

English
11 Reviews   •  English   •   Leisure Interest (Outdoors)
The return of the camping season after the “dark months” is always a cause for celebration. As the nights get longer and the temperature slowly rises over the next few weeks, the shops will start filling their shelves with new tents and camping gear, campsites will reopen and bleary-eyed campers will come out of hibernation.
This is also the time of year when the planning starts. For me, deciding where and when our camping trips will take place is almost as much fun as actually going. As anyone who’s been following my adventures over the last few years will know, I love a cunning plan as much as Baldrick. But why should I have all the fun? In this issue, the first of the new decade, I’m sharing my best tips on how you can plot your perfect camping year – from early weekends away to big family summer holidays and everything in between.
The other reason this is a great time of year is that it’s when the new tents go on sale. To guide you through it we’ve put together a 48-page supplement, featuring all the top manufacturers, ahead of the big NEC show in Birmingham. There’s a lot to tell you about, with exciting new features from the likes of Outwell and Vango, the launch of a new family tent range and the return of a well-loved brand with a completely new look. All in all it looks like it’s going to be another great camping year – now where did I put my planning notebook?
