Between 1986-2007, PSB released four albums in their Disco series of remix compilations. Initially focused on remixes of the duo’s singles by other producers, Disco 4 switched to compiling their remixes for artists including Madonna, David Bowie, Yoko Ono, Rammstein and The Killers.
“Disco 4 came about after a phase in the early 2000s of doing a lot of remixes,” remembers Neil Tennant. “We’ve done quite a lot of remixes again recently, and I’ve got a tracklisting for Disco 5 on my phone. We’ve done some great ones people maybe haven’t heard, for Wolfgang Tillmans and Claptone.”
