Crema Magazine  |  Crema International - Issue #42
The philosophy behind our ‘Cafe cities of the world’ series has always been that the cafe life of a city tends to reflect that city’s life and culture, and this is perhaps no truer than in the city that is the subject of this, our first international issue!
This issue, we visit Amsterdam, trading centre of the western world in the seventeeth century and arguably the world’s most liberal city. We hope you enjoy it as much as we enjoyed researching this story!
Paul Golding is not only a coffee aficionado, but a fine photographer, and is lucky enough to work in a job that frequently takes him to the ‘source of the bean’. He is also a student of the human condition, and it is with great pleasure that we bring you a repeat in softcopy of his stunning Faces of Coffee I [Portraits from the Coffee Lands]. We hope you enjoy this, our inaugural international edition of the world’s longest-established consumer coffee publication.
