The first teaser for Series 11 was shown on Sunday 15 July. You were quick to let us know what you thought of it…

On the Trail

ABI GOULDING EMAIL When I saw the first trailer for Series 11 (during halftime of what was a fantastic World Cup Final),

I was initially disappointed as it was really nothing more than a teaser and I’d been hoping for clips of the actual episodes. But I watched it a few more times (as I always do with these things) and I got more and more excited. Without any dialogue, I think that we’ve already been given an idea of the companions’ personalities, what their lives are like and what they’ll bring to the TARDIS. I can’t wait to see a larger crew in the TARDIS again. And when Jodie appeared, WOW! Already, she just looks like the Doctor! How many people can do that with just a smile and a twinkle in their eye? She’s the Doctor, and she’s loving it! Already, I think that the next few years at least are looking very bright indeed.

The Beano Summer Special 1981, as read by both the Doctor (Matt Smith) in The Rings of Akhaten (2013) and Graham (Bradley Walsh) in the Series 11 teaser.
