Simogo

The success of Sayonara Wild Hearts must have been a double relief for Simogo given the time it had taken to pull the game together; it’s easy to forget this was effectively the studio’s make-or-break moment. It could have been forgiven for keeping things simple for its next game, then – but that was never really on the cards. The Swedish duo has always marched to the beat of its own drum, and its next release, codenamed Project Fuzzy Optics, is no different. Which means, of course, it’s extremely different. If Sayonara was an upbeat crowd-pleaser, this is its more challenging counterpart.
