Stepping out on to the red carpet at the London premiere of Suicide
Squad last week, Cara Delevingne looked every inch the Hollywood star. Gone were the goofy expressions and cartoon onesies, and in their place stood a new, more refined version of the woman who came to fame as
fashion’s favourite wild child. Her latest appearance followed a slew of magazine covers, high-profile public speaking events and even a live TV rap battle with James Corden. All of which, according to sources close to Cara, have been executed with one specific intent: to secure her place as the film industry’s hottest property. But Cara’s ambitions haven’t come
without cost. Speaking to Grazia, one associate said that Cara is already feeling the strain of playing the Hollywood game. ‘It’s a different kind of pressure to when she was modelling, but it is pressure nonetheless.
