Constables at the police training centre in Hendon are being put through their paces as they prepare for the massive crowds expected at the coronation of Elizabeth II. As volunteers play the role of a surging crowd, the policemen link arms to cope with the pressure and hold them back. The training was put to good use as the coronation saw an estimated 3 million people take to the streets of London.
