Think outside the arena for winter workouts; your pasture may have better footing.
So many variables can affect your riding schedule in the winter, including lack of daylight, less-than-ideal riding conditions, holiday travel, illnesses, houseguests and so much more. While some of these intrusions can be worked around, if you don’t have access to an indoor, the two that will affect your time in the saddle the most are limited light and riding conditions like ice and snow.
