Apple is committed to privacy of course, and this is a good thing, but it does mean that the number of settings on the iPhone related to privacy has multiplied at a rapid rate over the last few versions of iOS. Every new update brings more settings and options and ways to opt in and out of tracking. Here we take a fresh look at privacy on the iPhone (much of this applies to the iPad too), and see where the settings are and how to manage them. There is a new private search engine for Safari, the so-called privacy ‘nutrition’ labels in the App Store, and so on.
