A Tale of Two Pretties

Collanda, Pandollie

For those of you who follow me on Twitter, @Blazespage, you will be well aware by now that we have an addition to the clan.

We have adopted a rare species, being a cross breed, constructed of one third Border Collie, one third Panda and one third Poo, and called him Laoch.

For ease of use, you may pronounce it as Lay-och, which is the Irish rather than the Scottish pronunciation, as to say it as we do, is like Dad is clearing a phlegm blockage that even a gallon of Venos (other cough medicines are available) couldn’t shift…

The name means ‘Hero’ and this little pup is very deserving of the title as he never had a great start to life.

He is also known at times by his Chinese Panda name, which is Wii Shiite…

So,how did this all come about?

Well, we were contacted, via Twitter, that someone, (@Lady Muck of Lochy), knew someone, who knew someone, way down in Galashiels that had a rescue puppy looking for a home.

Dad went onto their Facebook page, only to see that there were many 100’s of enquiries about the puppy, but he was no longer available, so we thought that was that.

Then a few days later, Dad checked his e-mails, which he rarely does, and there was a message from a wifie called Shona at the kennels.

Unbeknown to us…..they had researched me, and had decided (without our knowledge I may add), that this puppy was to be ‘Skye-bound’.
