IF YOU’RE THINNING ON TOP, WHAT ARE THE BEST STYLES TO GO FOR?

For thinning hair there are a couple of rules. The first is that you want to emphasise length on the top. Cutting the hair all one length, unless it’s very short, will normally expose the thinness on the top. The sides and the back of your hair you tend to never lose – that’s how male pattern baldness works. So when your hair’s thinning, or at least going through the start of that process, you want to keep the sides very short and tapered and allow length on the top to give the impression that your hair is fuller, thicker and longer.
