10. COMIC BOOK LEGAL DEFENSE FUND LIBERTY TRAD-ING CARD SET
The CBLDF has served comics creators, publishers, and retailers since 1986 by providing legal assistance related to defending free speech. CBLDF Liberty was Cryptozoic’s first trading card set, released in 2011. All proceeds from the CBLDF Liberty trading cards were donated to the nonprofit organization. Some top talent in the comic book world provided sketch cards, including Erik Larsen, Frank Quitely, and Rob Liefeld. Many of these contributing comic creators can only be found in this set because they wanted to support the CBLDF.
