A SHERIFF told a Kinlocheil man this week that a ‘very silly and stupid’ incident to get involved in has now seen him end up with a criminal conviction for possession of an offensive weapon.
Alastair Bryden-Henderson, of Oakbank Chalet, Kinlocheil, had pleaded guilty at Fort William Sheriff Court to having an offensive weapon, namely a hammer, in his possession at the McDonald’s restaurant car park at An Aird in Fort William, on October 10, 2016.
Sheriff Eilidh MacDonald listened as procurator fiscal Robert Weir told how police had been called to the car park on the day in question because of an altercation.
