A 19-YEAR-OLD man from Lerags was fined £500 for being in possession of £300 worth of cocaine.
Procurator fiscal Eoin McGinty told Oban Sheriff Court on Monday (February 27) that in the early hours of Friday February 25 this year, Joshua Jamieson’s car was found to have four blue plastic wraps of white powder inside. The powder was later identified as 6.7 grams of cocaine.
Jamieson, who is currently unemployed, handed himself in to Oban police station later the same day.
