MONEY raised at a community bonfire night in Dunbeg has been used to buy a projecter for Dunbeg Primary School.
James MacDonald, who helped organise the event, handed over £500 to the school after asking what the pupils needed. He said: ‘We wanted to do something for the school. They needed a projector, so we gave them £500. We made £1,800 on the night. Of that, £600 went on fireworks.’
The left over money will be used to fund next year’s event.
