The Scottish singer-songwriter and musician, who is now based in Los Angeles, is flying across the Atlantic to join Capercaillie, Julie Fowlis, Skerryvore and other stars at the Oban open-air concert at Mossfield Stadium on Saturday May 14, following on from Skippinish, Wolfstone and We Banjo 3 and more on Friday May 13.
‘I’m going to be playing at least four or five new songs. Oban Live will be the very first time anyone in the UK will hear these songs,’ she told The Oban Times.
‘I’m incredibly excited to play these songs in Oban. I’m really pleased it’s my first gig. They’ll be the guinea pigs. We’re all nervous, but in a good way.’
