Can I get all the nutrients I need during pregnancy on a vegan diet?
It’s great that you are looking at diet to nourish yourself and your baby. A vegan diet may not provide all the nutrients necessary for human health, and so other nutrients may be below optimum levels especially when supporting a developing foetus. These include iron, omega-3, choline, Vitamin D, Vitamin K, Vitamin B12, iodine and calcium.
