Not easy being green

Feeling envious of another author’s success is normal, just don’t let it blind you to your own accomplishments

Dear Agony Editor,

I’ve published three novels, all with mild to moderate success. Meanwhile, a good friend of mine is currently on a career high. Her most recent novel was a commercial hit and sold in multiple territories. While I know I should be happy for her, I’m extremely jealous. I’m trying not to let it get the better of me, but I can’t and it’s starting to affect our friendship. Any advice?
