Tralee services changed back from three-car to four-car sets. The changeover took place on May 3 at Cork, with the two three-car sets being sent to Dublin on the 05.45 and 06.15 Cork-Heuston services. The two four-car sets arrived that night on the 21.00 Heuston-Cork train, and were deployed on the Tralee line from the following morning. Here No. 22044 passes Minish with the 11.05
