Footbridge restored
A FOUR-month project to restore the Victorian lattice footbridge at Harrington station on the Cumbrian Coast has been completed. It was back in late October that the six-ton footbridge was removed by a crane and taken off-site for restoration, strengthening and repainting by specialist firm Tasker. It was returned to its original position over the weekend of March 4/5 after completion of the work, which cost £450000.
