Traditional granny squares become daring diamonds in this lovely tasselled project. It’s a greatWIP for chilly autumn evenings.

NOTES

This Blanket is made up of 140 motifs: 108 Whole Diamonds, 18 Horizontal Half Diamonds, 12 Vertical Half Diamonds and 2 Quarter Diamonds. All motifs are made first and sewn together before edging is added to the top and bottom. The Whole Diamonds are worked in the round. The Half and Quarter Diamonds are worked back and forth in rows. Finished Diamonds will benefit from blocking before joining. Refer to the image when joining the motifs together.
