Xiaomi 12S Ultra

Sometimes it feels like smartphone designers are copying the colourful winged insects, such are the numbers of cameras you get on phones these days, but what really matters for image quality is sensor size… which is why Xiaomi has fitted its new 12S Ultra with an absolute whopper.
Developed with Sony, this 50.3MP 1in job – yes, a full inch – has an eight-piece aspherical lens, multiple reflection-reducing coatings, and ‘octa-PD’ autofocus.
Up front, a 6.73in 3200x1440 AMOLED screen brings LTPO tech for an adaptive refresh rate from 1Hz to 120Hz, plus there’s an in-display fingerprint sensor.
